The family of Mathias Alten (1871-1938), an American Impressionist Painter, has decided to make some of Alten's works available to the public by providing reproductions of his artwork to the general public.
Here you can find prints, coffee mugs, t-shirts, and accessories with Mathias Alten's artwork and his son-in-law Ralph Demmon's artwork on them.

Mathias Alten travelled France to study painting at the Academie Julian and at the Academie Colorossi. In the 1920s he was enjoying critical acclaim in New York, Detroit, and Chicago.

Mathias Alten lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Though he travelled the world finding inspiration he chose western Michigan for his home. It was here that his works were most often admired and appreciated.

The Prints presented of Mathias Alten's Paintings are relics to the Contemporary Art Community. This link is dedicated to Mathias Alten and his incredible artwork.

Mathias Alten's son-in-law Ralph Demmon was known as an architect, a jeweler, and a hunter but was also an amazing painter in his own right. Some of Ralph Demmon's artwork is featured here. The last five prints on this website are of Ralph Demmon's works of art.
